The CPS-3T is assembled here in our warehouse at Water Fixers. This 3-filter reverse osmosis uses all Chinese-manufactured components and filter cartridges. It is designed for the most extreme budget-focused individual or company. It has a 2.5-gallon storage tank and an air-gap dispensing faucet.
Cheap filters do not have the micron size or special filter material required to remove VOCs (volatile organic chemicals), Hydrocarbon Gases (chlorine, ammonia, chloramines), Cysts (cryptosporidium, cyclospora, giardia), Silt, Clay, and other toxic contaminants, when compared to USA-manufactured cartridges. 2″ x 10″ sonically welded, plastic molded inline filter housing encapsulating a micro-fiber filter material that is typically installed inline between tubing. Molded micro-fiber material with a nominal 10 micron particle filtration rating for sediments, sand, rocks, etc. The primary function is to prevent sediments from fouling the membrane filter. Chinese-manufactured. Service Interval: Recommended every 3-6 months
CTA (cellulose tri-acetate) chlorinated water membrane filter cartridge. Particulate Filtration rating at .003 micron. Removes Total Dissolved Solids (TDS), Salts, Metals, Minerals, Organic Matter, Pyroxene’s, Sub-micron Colloidal matter, Cysts and Bacteria, and other contaminants from an untreated water supply. Average rejection ratio: >95%. Rated production up to 12 gpd. Chinese-manufactured. Service Interval: Recommended every 12-24 months
2″ x 10″ sonically welded, plastic molded inline filter housing encapsulating granular activated carbon that is typically installed inline between tubing. Granular Activated Bituminous Carbon material with a nominal 100 micron particle filtration rating. The primary function is to adsorb Chlorine when dispensing water to the faucet. Chinese-manufactured. Service Interval: Recommended every 3-6 months
2.5-gallon Steel Pressure Storage Tank with a usable pure water drawdown of approximately 1-1.25 gallons of purified water when completely drained. Steel construction with a powder coat finish. Internal butyl rubber bladder for pure water storage. 1/4″ MPT connection. Dimensions: 10″ H x 8″ D. 100 psi max working pressure. Chinese-manufactured.
The Long-reach Air-gap faucet is typically used for dispensing pure water from a pressurized storage tank of a reverse osmosis system. Manufactured from Lead-free brass with a high-polish chrome-plated finish. Touch n flow spring-loaded handle for easy dispensing and automatic shut-off after dispensing. 1/4″ inlet water connection. Integrated Air-gap module with 1/4″ and 3/8″ brass barb connections at the base of the faucet to comply with UPC plumbing code drain installation. Mounts in a standard 1 1/8″-1 1/4″ hole on the kitchen sink or countertop. Chinese-manufactured.
