The UPS-5T is assembled here in our warehouse at Water Fixers. “Built to Last a Lifetime”, this 5-stage combination Ultra-violet Light and Filter cartridge system uses all USA-manufactured components and USA-manufactured filter cartridges. This system is produced with stainless steel components, except for the faucet. We designed this system for individuals and companies that desire uncompromising, ultimate water quality, purity, and safety results. An Ultra-Violet Light module is mounted on top of the Membrane housing to treat water-borne bacteria when water is being dispensed. You won’t find anything like this at Big Box stores or other sources. It also includes a 4-gallon stainless steel storage tank and a luxurious air-gap dispensing faucet. No one offers the quality of filters that we include as standard equipment.
Cheap filters do not have the micron size or special filter material required to remove VOCs (volatile organic chemicals), Hydrocarbon Gases (chlorine, ammonia, chloramines), Cysts (cryptosporidium, cyclospora, giardia), Silt, Clay, and other toxic contaminants, when compared to USA-manufactured cartridges. Purchasing “Cheap Filters” to save a few dollars, or because it’s convenient, or convincing yourself that any cheap water filter will provide the same quality of pure water as a USA-manufactured filter can, are not acceptable excuses to compromise the integrity and safety of your drinking water. 2.5″ x 10″ graded density, graduated depth, micro-fiber filter cartridge. Molded micro-fiber material with a nominal 1 micron particle filtration rating for cysts, silt, clay, sediments, sand, rocks, etc. The primary function is to prevent super-fine sediments from fouling the membrane filter. USA-manufactured. NOTE: The graduated depth micro-fiber design becomes extremely dense in material weight from the outer perimeter of the cartridge to the center core, providing graduated depth filtration and far superior dirt retention. Service Interval: Recommended every 12 months.

Molded and pleated micro-fiber material with a nominal 1 micron particle filtration rating with each fiber impregnated with coconut shell powdered carbon to remove silt, clay, sediments, sand, rocks, cysts (giardia, cyclospora, cryptosporidium, e-coli), and adsorb hydro-carbon gases (chlorine, ammonia, chloramines), VOC’s (toluene, benzene, xylene, MTBE, perchlorate), and other contaminants. Stainless Steel Ultra-Violet Light System. Featuring a special lamp that emits short-wavelength UVC light, which is highly energetic. The lamp uses germicidal UVC light (200-280 nm) to penetrate microorganisms, damaging their DNA or RNA, preventing them from replicating and rendering them inactive or “dead,” making it a chemical-free way to disinfect air, water, and surfaces by disrupting vital microorganism cellular functions. 1-1 “Patented” Reverse Osmosis Membrane Filter technology that uses only 1 gallon of drain water to produce 1 gallon of pure drinking water. After years of research and development, this new water-saving membrane is now affordable and available to upgrade and replace your old technology membrane. Our Pure Safe Water Products Reverse Osmosis systems employ 3-1 ratio membranes and standard equipment, but we now offer the 1-1 ratio membrane as an affordable option. If you are looking for the ultimate water savings, then you just found the solution. This membrane still employs the TFC (thin film composite), Non-chlorinated water membrane filter cartridge. An Alkali Post-filter is available to add on to any new reverse osmosis drinking water filter system, or to retrofit any pre-existing reverse osmosis system. The Alkali filter cartridge contains calcium and magnesium carbonates, essentially hard water minerals that are dissolved into the water stream when dispensing water from the storage tank to the faucet. Adding the hard water minerals back into the water can raise the PH level of the purified water if that is a concern for the individual. Sometimes, when the osmosis membrane filter removes most or all of the dissolved minerals diluted in the tap water, the PH level drops. To raise the PH level back up, you would install an Alkali filter cartridge. The internal filter media is sacrificial and must be replaced periodically. The frequency of the filter change interval will depend on water usage and water quality.

This unique, elegant, attractive, heavy-duty, long-reach Air-gap faucet enhances the décor of any kitchen. It features a 1/4 turn, ceramic disc, single lever operation which mimics and complements most kitchen faucets. The flow rate is superior to that of other conventional reverse osmosis faucets when dispensing water from the reverse osmosis storage tank. It is machined from solid lead-free brass with a more durable, longer-lasting rhodium chrome finish. It is molded, machined, and hand assembled in Los Angeles, California. The inlet water connection is 3/8″ for an enhanced water dispensing flow rate. It has a separate Air-gap module base with 1/4″ and 3/8″ brass barb connections at the base to comply with UPC plumbing code drain installation.
