Plumbing Technician Summary

We are seeking an experienced Plumbing technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for service, repair, troubleshooting, and installation of piping, fittings, fixtures, and equipment for water, gas, and sewer systems in the residential, commercial, and industrial plumbing industry. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the plumbing industry.

Responsibilities:

Cut, solder, and assemble Copper Pipe and Fittings
Cut, thread, and assemble Steel and Galvanized Pipe and Fittings
Cut, glue, and assemble PVC and CPVC Pipe and Fittings
Cut, glue, and assemble ABS and DWV Drain Pipe and Fittings
Cut, expand, and assemble Pex Pipe and Fittings
Butt Fusion and Socket Fusion of HDPE Water and MDPE Gas Poly Pipe
Operate sewer cable machines from 1/4" to 1" cables to clear sewer lines
Service, repair, and install Tank, Tankless, Electric, and Heat Pump Water Heaters
Install faucets, sinks, toilets, tubs, showers, disposals, dishwashers, valves, pressure regulators, hose bibs, irrigation valves, and other plumbing fixtures
Sawcut, Roto-hammer, demo, and excavate concrete or asphalt
Excavate, trench, and dig with hand tools, power tools, and walk-behind trencher
Access attics, rooftops, and underneath homes for water, gas, and sewer repairs
Review plumbing plans, codes, and specifications to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Research and stay up-to-date with new plumbing technology, materials, and industry trends to ensure best practices are incorporated into every job.
Keep accurate records of time spent working, description of work performed and materials used

Qualifications:

5 years experience in the plumbing, water, gas, and sewer drain industry
Clean California Drivers License, no at-fault accidents, DUI, speeding, etc.
Strong understanding of plumbing codes and regulations.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Must be able to bend, lift up to 75 pounds, stoop, carry, kneel, climb, dig, sit, stand, and walk for prolonged periods of time

Benefits:

Salary

$50,000 - $70,000 per year DOE
