ZSA ZSA BEAUTY TIP • THE PERFECT SHOWER
What Makes a Shower Feel “Perfect”?
Zsa Zsa has very high standards for showers. The plumbing is less dramatic: a good shower experience depends on several systems working together—water pressure, fixture condition, hot-water delivery, pipe flow and water quality.
ZSA ZSA’S QUICK TAKE
The Short Answer
Do not diagnose a weak or unpleasant shower from one symptom. Low flow can be fixture buildup, a valve, pressure, piping or treatment equipment. Excessive pressure is also a plumbing issue. Water quality problems such as hardness are separate from pressure problems and need their own diagnosis.
Is stronger water pressure always better?
No. A shower should have adequate performance without excessive static pressure stressing the plumbing system. If the water feels unusually forceful or fixtures are failing repeatedly, household pressure should be measured rather than guessed.
Why can one shower feel weak while the rest of the house seems fine?
A single-fixture problem can involve the showerhead, cartridge, valve, localized restriction or scale. A whole-house pressure or flow problem usually creates a broader pattern. That distinction helps route the service call correctly.
Where does hard water fit into the shower experience?
Hardness can contribute to scale at showerheads, glass and fixtures. That is a water-treatment question. It is different from high pressure, a damaged shower valve or a failing water heater—even though the symptoms can overlap in one bathroom.
What if the hot water is the problem?
Temperature loss, no hot water, inconsistent hot water or a water-heater leak belongs on the water-heater path. The shower fixture is not always the source just because that is where the problem is noticed.

Zsa Zsa’s FAQ
Short answers first, with the important technical limits kept intact.
What water pressure is too high for a home?
Plumbing codes commonly treat static pressure above 80 psi as excessive. Water Fixers can test household pressure before recommending regulation or repair.
Why is only one shower low flow?
A single shower can have a fixture, cartridge, valve or local scale issue. Broader low pressure should be diagnosed separately.
Can hard water reduce showerhead flow?
Scale can collect in showerhead openings and fixtures. The amount of hardness and the condition of the fixture should be checked before deciding on treatment or replacement.
Can Water Fixers replace a shower fixture?
Water Fixers handles appropriate fixture installation and repair and can also evaluate pressure, water heaters and related plumbing when the symptom extends beyond the fixture.
