REVERSE OSMOSIS • LOMPOC, CA
Water Fixers installs and services under-sink reverse osmosis drinking-water systems for Lompoc homes. System selection and troubleshooting should use the actual feed water, pressure, upstream treatment, cabinet fit and service history—not stage count alone. We can help with a new system, filter service, membrane evaluation, tank or pressure problems, leaks and other existing-system concerns.

Need a new RO system? Start with the drinking-water goal, feed pressure, cabinet and tank space, faucet and drain access, refrigerator-line needs and any softener or whole-house treatment already upstream. Already have RO? Water Fixers can separate filter condition, membrane production, tank storage and delivery, pressure, shutoff behavior and leaks before recommending major component replacement.
Compare the seven Water Fixers RO systems before choosing equipment. Model selection should match the actual Lompoc feed water, available space, pressure, installation requirements and maintenance plan.
Plan the feed connection, drain, dedicated faucet, storage tank, service clearance and startup checks before equipment goes under the sink. Existing upstream softening or filtration should be considered during planning.
Slow flow, weak delivery, leaks, constant running, tank problems, taste changes or poor production should be diagnosed before filters, membrane or the entire system are replaced.
If the service history is unknown or cartridges are due, identify the installed system and correct cartridge sequence first. Routine filter service is separate from membrane evaluation and replacement.
The City of Lompoc says its main supply comes from ten groundwater wells and is treated through the City water-treatment system. The City also operates the Frick Springs treatment plant for a small number of Miguelito Canyon customers. That source distinction matters because public-system information should be matched to the property actually being served rather than assumed for every Lompoc-area address.
Current treated-water sampling adds useful planning context. California Drinking Water Watch reports that the City treatment plant’s treated-water sample dated August 25, 2026 measured 297 mg/L total hardness as CaCO₃ and 840 mg/L total dissolved solids. Those are treatment-plant results—not a guaranteed faucet reading. Hardness is mainly a whole-house scale/softening question; under-sink RO is a separate point-of-use drinking-water treatment.
Hardness and dissolved solids are important planning context. The 2025 report lists City water hardness averaging 293 ppm as CaCO₃ with a 245–318 ppm range, and total dissolved solids averaging 817 ppm with a 690–910 ppm range. Those are City/system results—not a guaranteed faucet reading. Hardness is mainly a whole-house scale/softening question; for an under-sink RO system, Water Fixers looks at the actual feed water, pressure, prefilter condition, upstream treatment and the homeowner’s drinking-water goal.
Lompoc’s municipal groundwater and current treatment-plant data provide useful context, but an RO recommendation still has to be made at the property. System-level hardness and TDS do not tell you the feed pressure, whether a softener is upstream, how old the cartridges are, or whether an existing system’s problem is production, storage or delivery.
Most City customers are served by the treated groundwater system, while a small Miguelito Canyon group receives Frick Springs water and nearby Lompoc-area communities can be on separate systems. Confirm the service address and, when the treatment decision depends on chemistry, use current testing or reliable provider information for the water reaching the RO.
The current treated-water hardness result is relevant to scale and upstream treatment, but hardness alone is not a reason to install under-sink RO. A softener addresses whole-house hardness; RO treats drinking and cooking water at a point of use. For hardness help, use Lompoc water softener service. For broader treatment goals, start with Lompoc water filtration services.
The current treatment-plant TDS result is useful feed-water context, but it does not prove a particular membrane is failing. Water Fixers evaluates pressure, fresh-prefilter flow, membrane production, storage-tank behavior and treated-water performance before deciding what actually needs service.
EXISTING RO SYSTEMS WELCOME
You do not have to be the original Water Fixers customer. For an inherited or aging Lompoc RO system, the useful first question is where the flow is being lost. Water Fixers checks feed pressure, filter condition and membrane production before blaming the storage tank, then checks whether a full tank can deliver normally through the faucet.
A system that fills slowly may have a production-side problem. A tank that feels full but delivers only a short burst can point toward storage, pressure, faucet or tubing restrictions. Filters, housing condition, O-rings, tubing, automatic shutoff behavior and leaks still matter. The goal is to isolate the failed part before recommending a membrane or complete-system replacement.
New under-sink RO installation with feed connection, dedicated faucet, storage tank, drain connection, startup checks and room for future service. Feed pressure and existing upstream treatment are checked before final setup.
Troubleshooting for leaks, low production, weak tank delivery, constant running, pressure, faucet, drain, shutoff and other system problems.
Lompoc filter service begins with the installed cartridge sequence, then checks housings, O-rings and fittings. After service, the system is repressurized and inspected before filter condition is confused with membrane or tank performance.
When fresh filters, normal feed pressure and a sound tank do not restore production or treated-water performance, the membrane and the rest of the system can be evaluated before replacement.
For Lompoc homes, installation planning should account for more than whether the equipment physically fits. Feed pressure, any upstream softener or whole-house filter, cabinet and tank space, drain access, faucet location, refrigerator routing, shutoff access and future cartridge service all affect how usable the finished system will be.
Water Fixers checks the incoming feed, cabinet dimensions, tank placement, drain connection, dedicated faucet location, tubing path and existing treatment before installation. After startup, the system should be flushed and checked for normal production, tank refill, faucet operation, shutoff and drain behavior, and leaks under pressure.
WHY WATER FIXERS FOR LOMPOC
Water Fixers combines Lompoc public-water context with the pressure, valves, drains, faucets, cabinet space, upstream treatment and service history at the actual property. That helps distinguish a new-system decision from routine service or a targeted repair.
Water Fixers serves Lompoc and the surrounding Lompoc Area from Santa Maria, with RO service that can address both treatment performance and the under-sink valves, drain connection, faucet and pressure conditions that affect the system.
Inherited the RO with the home or had another company install it? Water Fixers can inspect the equipment already there and recommend the next step based on condition, service history, parts availability, production, storage and actual performance.
RO performance depends on feed water, pressure, valves, drains, faucets, tubing, tank condition and treatment upstream. Water Fixers works across plumbing and water treatment so those conditions can be evaluated together when they affect the RO system.
REAL WATER FIXERS FIELD WORK
Water Fixers documents real reverse osmosis and filtration work across the Central Coast, including under-sink installations, cartridge service, flow testing, system checks and other water-treatment equipment—not stock equipment presented as a local job.
For a Lompoc homeowner, the same company that helps choose or install an RO system can remain available for filter changes, membrane evaluation, sanitation, tank or pressure diagnosis, leak diagnosis and future service.
Water Fixers services many existing under-sink reverse osmosis systems across California’s Central Coast, including equipment we did not originally install. We troubleshoot leaks, low flow, no-water conditions, tank and pressure problems, filters, membranes, faucets and other performance issues.
The exact model and symptom guide the diagnosis so parts and service are matched to the system actually installed.
These Lompoc answers center on municipal groundwater, filter loading, membrane production and the practical test of whether a full storage tank can deliver normally at the faucet.
Tell Water Fixers whether you are choosing a new RO system, planning installation, trying to restore flow from an existing system, or deciding whether the tank, filters or membrane need attention. We can help identify the right next step for comparison, installation, maintenance or repair.
